Terms of Service

1. What Just Search provides

Just Search is a UAE business discovery and listing service. It lets people search for businesses, contact them, browse offers, and where enabled, submit reviews or enquiries. Businesses may register profiles, provide product and service information, and purchase optional digital packages. Just Search is generally a discovery and technology platform; it is not automatically the seller or provider of goods, professional advice or services advertised by independent businesses.

A business shown on the Platform may operate a separate website, app, payment system or booking service. Those destinations may have additional terms, fees and privacy practices set by the business or its providers.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

Account information must be accurate and kept up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and for activity you authorize under your account. You may not impersonate another person or business, misuse another business's trademark, upload unlawful or misleading materials, post fake reviews, scrape the Platform in breach of applicable law or our technical restrictions, or interfere with its security or availability.

Business account holders must have legal capacity to enter an agreement and authority to represent their business. You must provide valid contact details and, when requested for the relevant package or verification process, appropriate trade-license or other supporting documents. Users who are not legally able to enter a binding agreement must obtain any consent required by applicable law.

3. Business listings and accuracy

Businesses are responsible for the accuracy, legality and currency of their names, contact information, locations, descriptions, products, services, photographs, pricing, availability, offers and claims. They must hold any permits or professional authorizations required for their activities. Just Search may request evidence of business identity and may reject, return for correction, suspend or remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, in dispute, or contrary to Platform rules, subject to applicable law and any separately agreed contract.

Directory search results, availability, ratings, distance and third-party maps are provided for discovery and may contain errors, delays or outdated information. Customers should confirm relevant details directly with a business before relying on them or making payment.

4. Paid listings, Verified badges and featured placement

Paid listings may be eligible to receive a Just Search Verified badge after the Platform approves the listing and completes its applicable verification checks. Payment alone does not automatically grant a badge. Verification indicates only that Just Search completed its stated checks at a point in time; it is not a guarantee of service quality, professional competence, financial standing, safety, product authenticity or continuing regulatory compliance. The badge may be reassessed or withdrawn if the underlying information changes or concerns arise.

Featured or sponsored placement is a promotional service. Featured placement does not represent a recommendation, impartial ranking or warranty by Just Search. We may label promoted results, and their position or visibility may change based on the selected product, search context and Platform availability.

5. Packages, orders and payment

The Platform currently offers four packages: a Free listing; a Basic directory-registration package priced at AED 50 as a one-time registration fee; a Marketing Plan priced at AED 1,499 per month, under which Just Search promotes the business's directory profile and adds search-optimisation tools to it; and an E-Store package priced at AED 100 per month, which adds an online storefront, cart and cash-on-delivery ordering. The Marketing Plan and E-Store are monthly subscriptions and renew only for the period purchased; access to their features may end if a renewal is not paid. Our earlier Go Digital and Digital Elite packages are no longer sold, but remain available on their agreed terms to businesses that already hold them. Marketing and search-optimisation work aims to increase enquiries but does not guarantee any number of leads, calls, enquiries, rankings, traffic or sales. The currently displayed package price, exact deliverables, taxes (if applicable), exclusions, payment stages, and any ongoing hosting, domain, maintenance or renewal charges will be set out at checkout or in a separate accepted written quotation, order or proposal. Where there is a conflict about bespoke website or app deliverables, the separately accepted project agreement governs those deliverables to the extent permitted by law.

Creating an order or submitting a listing does not itself confirm that payment was received or a listing was approved. Paid features begin only after payment is verified and the applicable listing or project is approved or activated. We do not represent that an external website, custom domain, mobile app, Google Play listing or Apple App Store listing is automatically created when you pay for a directory package.

Any recurring charge, cancellation policy, refund eligibility or project milestone must be disclosed in the applicable checkout or project agreement and remains subject to mandatory consumer-protection law. We will not treat an undisclosed recurring charge as accepted merely because a business paid a one-time directory registration fee.

6. Separate websites, mobile apps and domains

For qualifying packages, website and app development are separate customer projects and may require the customer's content, branding, domain access, approvals, software credentials and timely feedback. Project scope, delivery dates, included changes, support, third-party subscriptions and ownership or transfer of custom work must be recorded in the applicable accepted proposal or project agreement.

Custom-domain registration, DNS and SSL setup depend on domain ownership and relevant providers. Android or iPhone app availability depends on the applicable store's developer-account rules, review decisions and technical requirements. We cannot guarantee that a third-party domain registrar, app store, payment provider or other external platform will approve or continue to host a customer project.

7. Content, images and intellectual property

You keep ownership of content you lawfully own and upload, subject to any separate project agreement. You grant Just Search a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, for as long as needed to operate and promote your directory listing, to host, format, reproduce and display content you submit for that listing. You confirm that you have permission to use all text, photographs, logos, trademarks, reviews or other materials you upload and that those materials do not infringe others' rights.

The Just Search brand, software, layouts, original platform content and associated intellectual property remain with Just Search or its licensors unless separately agreed in writing. Do not copy or reuse another business's content or Just Search material without authorization. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us with details so we can review it.

8. Reviews, enquiries and coupons

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and must not be fabricated, paid for without disclosure, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory or used to disclose private information without permission. We may moderate, decline or remove submissions according to these Terms and applicable law, but publication is not an endorsement or an independent verification of every statement. Businesses may respond to published reviews; responses must remain professional and lawful.

Offers, coupon codes and prices are provided by participating businesses. Unless Just Search expressly states otherwise, the offering business is responsible for its promotion's terms, availability, redemption and fulfilment. We do not guarantee that every offer remains available or that a business will respond to every enquiry. Do not include sensitive identity or payment details in public reviews or ordinary enquiry messages.

9. Privacy and location

Our Privacy Policy describes account data, optional device location, session-based usage statistics, Google sign-in information, and how business enquiries and published reviews are shared. Browser or device location permissions can be declined. By submitting an enquiry, you request that its contents and your supplied contact information be passed to the relevant business to respond.

10. Availability, rankings, AI features and security

We may maintain, update or change the Platform and may temporarily restrict access for security, maintenance or technical reasons. We aim to keep the Platform operational, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or particular commercial results, leads, rankings, bookings, website traffic, app downloads or sales.

Search ranking, category suggestions, nearby results and other discovery features may use automated rules, location signals, listing quality, popularity, verification status, relevance or AI-assisted classification. They are provided to improve discovery and do not amount to an endorsement, professional advice, regulatory approval or a promise that a business will appear in a particular position. Algorithms and ranking factors may change over time.

We may restrict accounts or listings where reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, security incidents, repeated misuse, legal requirements or material violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

11. Independent businesses and disputes

Contracts for goods or services offered by independent listed businesses generally arise between the consumer and that business, unless Just Search expressly identifies itself as the contracting supplier for the particular transaction. The business is responsible for its service, delivery, pricing, permits, warranties and customer obligations. Consumers retain any rights available under applicable law and may contact the supplier or appropriate regulator regarding a dispute.

12. E-Store sales and payments

Businesses on the E-Store package sell goods directly to their customers. The business, not Just Search, is the seller and is solely responsible for its products, prices, stock, delivery, returns, refunds, taxes, permits and customer service. At launch, orders placed through the E-Store are paid by cash on delivery or at pickup, and the payment is settled directly between the business and its customer; Just Search does not collect, hold or refund customer payments, and does not provide, arrange or charge for delivery. If online card payments are introduced later, their terms will be published before they are enabled.

13. Classifieds

The Classifieds section lets registered users post items and services for sale and lets visitors contact the poster using the phone or WhatsApp number provided. Posting is free. Each user is solely responsible for the ads they post and for every conversation, negotiation, payment, handover and transaction that follows. Just Search is not a party to any sale, does not hold or handle buyer or seller money, does not inspect or guarantee items, and gives no warranty about any ad, seller or buyer.

Every ad must be approved by a Just Search administrator before it is published, and an edited ad returns to review. Approval is only a limited moderation check; it is not an endorsement, verification or guarantee of the ad, the item, the price or the person posting it. Just Search may reject, remove, expire or restrict any ad or account at any time, with or without notice, including where an ad is inaccurate, misleading, duplicated, reported, or breaches these Terms or the law.

You must own or be lawfully entitled to sell what you post and must use accurate descriptions, photographs and prices. You must not post illegal, stolen, counterfeit, hazardous or age-restricted items; weapons, drugs, tobacco or alcohol; live animals where prohibited; adult content; anything that infringes others' rights; or scams. By posting, you agree that the contact details you enter will be shown publicly to any visitor and you confirm you have accepted these Terms. Buyers should meet in safe public places, inspect items before paying and avoid advance payments to unknown persons. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims or losses arising from your ads and transactions.

14. Liability and mandatory rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Just Search is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from inaccurate third-party listing content, a third-party service, an independent business, lost opportunities, loss of expected profits, or a user's reliance on information that the user could reasonably have confirmed directly with the relevant business.

Where liability can lawfully be limited and the claim relates to a paid Just Search service, our aggregate liability for that specific claim will not exceed the amount paid to Just Search for the affected service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless a separately signed agreement provides a different lawful cap.

We do not exclude or restrict liability, remedies or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including liability arising from fraud or any mandatory consumer-protection right. Nothing here removes responsibilities expressly accepted by Just Search under a separate signed project agreement.

15. Business responsibility and indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, a business account holder agrees to be responsible for claims, losses, penalties or reasonable costs arising from content, products, services, promotions, trademarks, photographs or statements it supplies to Just Search where those materials are unlawful, misleading, infringe another person's rights, or are published without the required licence or authority. This does not apply to the extent the relevant loss was caused by Just Search's own unlawful conduct.

16. Events outside reasonable control

Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as major internet or cloud outages, cyber incidents not caused by its failure to use reasonable safeguards, government restrictions, natural disasters, widespread telecommunications failure, app-store outages or other force-majeure events, except for payment obligations already due or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Applicable law and resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates, subject to any mandatory rules governing the relevant consumer, transaction or jurisdiction. Parties should first contact us to seek a reasonable resolution. Any unresolved dispute may be brought before a court or authority having jurisdiction under applicable law; these Terms do not displace mandatory statutory rights or an otherwise agreed lawful dispute-resolution mechanism for a separate customer project.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Platform evolves. The latest version and its effective date will be available on this page. Where required by law or an applicable agreement, we will give appropriate notice or seek acceptance before changes materially affect existing contractual rights.
